I love mystery and murder productions that sell you an idea and get into the viewer’s mind to such an extent that you are convinced that things are as they are being shown to you because everything makes sense, people react exactly as you think they will, all the events unfold little by little, and the result is what you expect, so everything seems very predictable, but in the end there is a twist where they show you that nothing is as you thought, that yes, people behaved in a certain way, but they had a reason for doing so, although it was not what you thought, but rather they were hiding the real problem.

Me encantan las producciones de misterio y asesinato que te venden una idea y que se va metiendo en la mente del espectador hasta tal punto de estar convencido que las cosas son como te las están mostrando pues todo tiene sentido, las personas reaccionan tal cual tu crees que lo van a hacer, todos los eventos se van dando poco a poco y el resultado es el que se está esperando, así que todo parece muy predecible, pero al final viene ese giro en el que te muestran que nada es como tú creías, que sí, las personas tenían el comportamiento, pero tenían una razón para tenerlo, aunque no era la que tú creías, sino que estaban ocultando el verdadero problema.

This film is based on a book I haven’t read, which is part of a series of four books about Millie (Sydney Sweeney), a desperate girl looking for a job where she can stay overnight, as she finds herself in a complicated situation where she has nowhere to live and does not want to return to where she has been for the last few years. So she offers her services as a domestic worker and attends an interview with the Winchester family. She is enchanted by the house and by Nina (Amanda Seyfried), who is the owner of the house. She wants to be chosen and start working there. When her hopes are fading, she receives the big call to start work. When she meets Andrew (Brandon Sklenar), she is immediately hooked. I would be too, as he is a good, kind man, as well as handsome with a smile that melts your heart.

Millie experiences episodes of confusion, as the family behaves strangely. The couple has a daughter, and the girl is unfriendly towards Millie, but Millie, being in a situation where she cannot leave the job because she has nowhere else to live, decides to stay and, so to speak, falls into the trap, without suspecting that she was deliberately selected for a purpose.

Esta película está basada en un libro que no he leído y que forma parte de un conjunto de cuatro libros que tratan sobre Millie (Sydney Sweeney), una chica desesperada que busca un trabajo donde ella pueda pernotar, pues se encuentra en una situación complicada en la que no tiene donde vivir y en la que no quiere volver a donde estuvo en los últimos años, así que se ofrece como empleada doméstica y asiste a una entrevista con la familia Winchester, ella queda encantada con la casa y con Nina ( Amanda Seyfred) quie. Es la dueña de la casa, desea ser la elegida y empezar a trabajar ahí, cuando sus esperanzas se debilitan recibe la gran llamada para empezar a trabajar, al conoce a Andrew (Brandon Sklenar) inmediatamente queda enganchada, yo también lo haría pues es un hombre bueno, amable, además de guapo con una sonrisa que derrite.

Suceden episodios de confusión para Millie, pues la familia se comporta de una manera extraña, este matrimonio tienen una hija y la niña es poco amigable con Millie, pero estando en la situación en la que se encuentra, en la que no puede dejar el trabajo pues no tiene donde vivir ella decide quedarse y como quien dice caer en la trampa, sin sospechar que fue deliberadamente seleccionada para un propósito.

Each character has their own well-executed mystery. Oh, and remember the handsome Massimo (Michele Morrones) from the movie 365? Well, he also appears here in the role of Enzo, a fairly minor character who, although he tried to generate mystery, in the end wasn't what I expected. Hasta aquí es todo lo que puedo contar, el resto tienes que verlo por ti mismo, pero te aseguro que no será tiempo perdido y que las actuaciones son espectaculares, cada personaje tiene su misterio bien ejecutado, ah! y recuerdan al guapísimo Massimo (Michele Morrones) de la película 365, bueno, el también aparece aquí en el papel de Enzo, un personaje bastante pequeño que aunque trató de generar misterio al final no fue lo que esperaba.
