Now for the original fuss budget!
(so says my mom, but I think she said that nickname for each of her grand kids.. at least for the oldest kids of mine and my sister too)
meet Ysabella Libres Belsom..
*(this pic is like 19 years old now, but isn't she soooooooooo cute?!)*
U know how it is, with the first born child, we took about a million pics, compared to her younger brother.. he has LESS pics taken of him. 😄✌️
Allow me to just show off a few of these pics now..
Let's start with a baby pic, (or two)
*here she is when we lived for a couple of years in california.*
*taken also at that time, Ysa and her great grandma.. my mom's mom*
After the stop in cali, it was onward to go live on Maui. It was here that Ysa went to pre-school until Middle school..
Our fam took our first trip to philippines to go and be with my mother-in-law..
We moved there.. we wanted our kids to experience the filipino culture since they ARE half filipino, and mainly we moved to PH to stay there while my wife would give one of her kidneys to her older sister. The kids enjoyed going to school in philippines as well as all that PH had to offer,,
It was in 2019 that Ysa decided she wanted to finish her schooling in USA. My dad agreed to house her while she attended school here on maui. Well, he is not so young anymore and he was so done with Ysa.. attitude as well as behavior.. so, right after covid was in full swing in 2020, I was lucky enough to catch the last flight out of Manila and fly back to Maui where it was just me and Ysa for about 1 1/2 years, until we were joined by my wife and son.
and here she is looking all pretty in her green dress for a junior ball..
I just want to add that this time was the time when I truly felt is was US against the world.. as in me and Ysa. Was it all flowers and laughs? No. but I thought it was better than not and it really did build a closer relationship between me and my daughter.
I Love YOU always and so proud to call u MY daughter..
☺️😎🤙💖💙🩶🫰🫶
