Who else agrees with me when I say the government of nations are not getting scrutinized and held accountable for their actions well enough. This on going war between Iran and Israel and the U.S has taught me that democracy is not real at all. The presidents and the war leaders are the ones controlling the countries. A lot of citizens from the countries want peace but the leaders want war, and we're getting war so it's obvious the leaders determine what happens and the people's opinions don't matter at all.

I was paying for airtime from a regular kiosk, you know the ones where the old guy with his radio blasting in the background is the only regular employee at that kiosk. While buying airtime, I also heard them tell a story about how yet another ministry has run out of money, but there's no new project in sight. All the cashier did was sigh and go back to work, it's nothing new for anyone anymore. We've come to accept stupidity and unaccountability.

No transparent Accounting department or agency for public funds. Payroll taxes are withheld from your pay, taxes are added to your goods in all stores, taxes are paid to every border in this country. Only the average Joe experienced these taxes and if an agency can not provide a clear explanation of its budget and a reasoning for receiving additional funds it does not deserve to receive additional funding. I just don't see them using this simple logic.

There should be annual audits completed on every agency or department and should be available for the general public to see just like how blockchain works. They should not be available in an edition of a gazette publication, except for those citizens who are lawyers. All departments should have an annual audit completed.

There are at least a few governments I am aware of that function this way but you can't get it perfect anywhere, that I accept. Accountability is part of their function, not part of a ceremony. We are still behind in my country. The difference between now and where we want to be is not one of technology, it is about the politics.

Someone within our government knows exactly what needs to be fixed so they could speak up but perhaps they could get fired for telling the truth.
