Hello amazing people,

My name is Comfort Effiong. I am the first among five children and my name has always inspired me to bring hope, joy, and encouragement to everyone around me. In some tough situations of my life, I always strive to be positive to grow, become better in my various endeavors. I believe I am simply graced with the diligence to persist in learning and improving in my life pursuits until I achieve my desired goals.
I accept my losses and celebrate my wins with great faith in God.
I am an ardent lover of God and His Word. God has always been my ever-present help and refuge in the midst of life’s challenges. Because of this, I live with what I like to call “Godfidence” — confidence that comes from trusting God. I am happily married and blessed with two lovely children(boys).

Place of Origin
I am from Afaha Ekpenedi village in Esit Eket Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. Our community has its own unique dialect called Ekid, which is different from the more widely spoken Ibibio language.
Akwa Ibom State is located in the South-South region of Nigeria and is richly blessed with diverse cultures, traditions, vegetation, rivers, and delicious local delicacies. Education
I am a graduate of Food Science and Technology from the University of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. I have applied this knowledge in different ways such as: working as a Home Economics tutor and serving as a health/lifestyle coach amongst others.
My education strengthened my interest in healthy foods, food processing and packaging, food safety and development of new food Products.
Coaching and Mentorship
I used to hear about hive but did not know how to navigate it. Hive is a wonderful platform that was introduced to me by @pascalukandy and @ijelady. I appreciate them for introducing, mentoring and guiding me about Hive. God bless you both in Jesus name, Amen.
