Yesterday in the Kingdom (@krolestwo) we created the 250th Hive account! This was done using the Hive Keychain app, which offers the simplest onboarding process. Thanks to this, everything took less than 2 minutes. All it took was entering a name, saving the keys, and generating a QR code. After scanning it, a new account was created and a delegation of 10 RC was transferred from @hive.aid. For over a year, this has been the basic onboarding procedure in the Kingdom. Of course, the number of accounts created as a result of our promotion is higher, because the number 250 does not include those created independently by people using other methods. One thing, however, is certain – thanks to the Kingdom, Kraków has become the largest local Hive community in Europe. Neither London, nor Berlin, nor Amsterdam has more users!

Back in the days when Hive wasn’t yet Hive and the Kingdom was located in Rzeszów, our place was a phenomenon on the map of Europe. It was the only venue where users of our blockchain met regularly. Back then, it was a dozen or so people. A lot has changed since 2018, especially over the last year.

The support of @valueplan became a catalyst for unimaginable growth. Attendance increased by 250%! After 5 years of operating in the city, the Kingdom finally became recognizable. Thanks to various activities, many people heard about us. And as a result, many people heard about Hive. Currently, more than 30 people visit the Kingdom on average each day. On Saturdays, we often have more than 70 people — more than at any Hive event in Europe.

Of course, the point the Kingdom has reached is the result of volunteer work that could be valued at hundreds of thousands of dollars. The beneficiary of this enormous effort is Hive. The more popular the Kingdom becomes, the more people have a chance to learn about Hive. Below are a few examples of how this works.

• In the summer of 2025, Hive had its own booth at the Slot Art Festival, which gathered several thousand people. The beginning of this cooperation was a visit by the festival organizers to the Kingdom, which is a bridge between NGOs and blockchain technology.
• In May 2025, at the Zondacrypto Educational Center in Katowice, I had the opportunity to talk about Hive. When arranging the meeting, the promotion department of this largest exchange in the region was not interested in Hive itself but in its implementation in the Kingdom, and that is mainly what they wanted to hear about. And that became a great pretext to present the community, talk about the fork, the wells in Ghana, and a few other amazing stories.
• At the end of July, we published a reel that currently has 230K views, and this number is still growing. Thanks to it, every week new people come to the Kingdom and play a game whose elements include installing Hive Keychain, creating an account, and claiming a reward.
• Thanks to the viral reel, Hive also appeared in several final presentations by university students in Kraków, who, when talking about the Kingdom, could not omit the aspect of using blockchain.
• The June rebranding of the Kingdom, in turn, attracted the interest of Radio 1.7, run by the best technical university in Poland. At the end of November, they produced a video report in which the use of the Hive blockchain was discussed.

There are more examples. Thanks to the Kingdom, Hive has been featured in podcasts and even on Lithuanian local television. The most important thing, however, is that KBK is still developing. Recently, we carried out the first international volunteer project as part of the pilot Hive Voluntary Service program. For two weeks, @blind-spot lived in Kraków, only with HBD (without converting to fiat), and helped us improve our place. No one has done anything like this before in the crypto world. Unfortunately, when it comes to promoting this, we can only rely on ourselves. The same is true for all other marketing activities. The effects could be much better if Hive had a coherent strategy and, within it, used our successes for its own promotion.

The Kingdom is a success story in a field dominated by failures. Non-profit cultural spaces operate for an average of 2 years. Then they usually collapse. At least that’s how it is in Poland. The Kingdom has been operating for 10 years. This happened because we did what no one else did in the NGO sector — we built a system using blockchain. This helped solve many typical problems: from promotion to lack of engagement. It is also important that this is happening in a part of the world that is full of regulations not necessarily favorable to the development of cryptocurrencies. This makes the Kingdom a unique project that can be appreciated even by the biggest opponents of crypto. There is no speculation here — instead, there is community building, which just so happens to be the largest local Hive community in Europe.

Wczoraj w Królestwie (@krolestwo) założyliśmy 250-te konto Hive! Odbyło się to za pomocą aplikacji Hive Keychain, która oferuje najprostszy sposób onboardingu. Dzięki temu wszystko trwało mniej niż 2 minuty. Wystarczyło wpisać nazwę, zapisać klucze i wygenerować kod QR. Po jego zeskanowaniu założone zostało nowe konto a z @hive.aid przekazana została delegacja 10 RC. Jest to od ponad roku podstawowa procedura onboardingowa w Królestwie. Oczywiście kont założonych jako efekt naszej promocji jest więcej, bo liczba 250 nie uwzględnia tych stworzonych przez ludzi samodzielnie innymi metodami. Jedno jednak jest pewne - dzięki Królestwu Kraków stał się największą lokalną społecznością Hive w Europie. Ani Londyn, ani Berlin, ani Amsterdam nie ma większej ilości użytkowników!

Jeszcze w czasach, gdy Hive nie był Hive a Królestwo znajdowało się w Rzeszowie, nasze miejsce było fenomenem na mapie Europy. Był to jedyny lokal, w którym regularnie spotykali się użytkownicy naszego blockchainu. Wtedy było to kilkanaście osób. Wiele się jednak zmieniło od 2018 roku. Choć najwięcej w ciągu ostatniego roku.

Wsparcie @valueplan stało się katalizatorem niewyobrażalnego rozwoju. Frekwencja wzrosła o 250%! Po 5 latach działania w mieście Królestwo stało się w końcu rozpoznawalne. Za sprawą różnych działań usłyszało o nas bardzo wiele osób. A co za tym idzie bardzo wiele osób usłyszało o Hive. Obecnie Królestwo odwiedza średnio ponad 30 osób dziennie. W soboty często mamy ponad 70 osób, czyli więcej niż na jakiejkolwiek europejskiej imprezie Hive.

Oczywiście punkt, w którym znalazło się Królestwo to efekt wolontariatu, który można byłoby wycenić w setkach tysięcy dolarów. Beneficjentem tej ogromnej pracy włożonej w rozwój jest Hive. Im bardziej popularne jest Królestwo, tym więcej osób ma szansę dowiedzieć się o Hive. Poniżej kilka przykładów jak to działa.

• Latem 2025 Hive miał swoje stoisko na Slot Art Festivalu, który zgromadził kilka tysięcy osób. Początkiem tej współpracy była wizyta organizatorów festiwalu w Królestwie, które jest pomostem między NGO a technologią blockchain.
• W maju 2025 roku w Centrum Edukacyjnym Zondacrypto w Katowicach miałem okazję opowiedzieć o Hive. Gdy umawiałem spotkanie działu promocji tej największej w regionie giełdy nie interesował Hive jako taki ale jego implementacja w Królestwie i o tym głównie chcieli usłyszeć. I to było świetnym pretekstem do pokazania społeczności, opowiedzeniu o forku, studniach w Ghanie i kilku innych niesamowitych historiach.
• Pod koniec lipca opublikowaliśmy rolkę, która w tym momencie ma 230 tysięcy wyświetleń i liczba ta ciągle rośnie. Dzięki niej każdego tygodnia do Królestwa przychodzą nowe osoby i grają w grę, której elementem jest zainstalowanie Hive Keychaina, założenie konta i odebranie nagrody.
• Dzięki viralowej rolce Hive pojawił się również w kilku prezentacjach zaliczeniowych studentów wyższych uczelni w Krakowie, którzy opowiadając o Królestwie nie mogli pominąć aspektu wykorzystania blockchainu.
• Czerwcowy rebranding Królestwa zainteresował z kolei Radio 1.7 prowadzone przez najlepszą techniczną uczelnię wyższą w Polsce. Pod koniec listopada zrobili oni reportaż, w którym poruszany był wątek wykorzystania blockchainu Hive.

Przykładów jest więcej. Dzięki Królestwu o Hive można było posłuchać w podcastach, a nawet w litewskiej telewizji lokalnej. Najważniejsze jest jednak to, że KBK wciąż się rozwija. Ostatnio przeprowadziliśmy pierwszy projekt zagranicznego wolontariatu w ramach pilotażowego programu Hive Voluntary Service. Przez dwa tygodnie @blind-spot mieszkał w Krakowie, żył za HBD (bez zamiany na fiat) i pomagał nam w ulepszeniu naszego miejsca. Nikt wcześniej nic podobnego nie zrobił w świecie krypto. Niestety w nagłośnieniu tego możemy liczyć tylko na siebie. Podobnie zresztą jest w przypadku wszystkich innych działań marketingowych. Efekty mogłyby być o wiele lepsze, gdyby Hive miał spójną strategię i w jej ramach wykorzystywał nasze sukcesy do własnej promocji.

Królestwo to historia sukcesu na polu, gdzie dominują porażki. Niekomercyjne miejsca kultury (non-profit) działają średnio 2 lata. Potem zwykle upadają. Przynajmniej tak jest w Polsce. Królestwo działa 10 lat. Stało się tak dlatego, że zrobiliśmy to, czego nikt inny nie zrobił w NGO - zbudowaliśmy system wykorzystując blockchain. To pomogło rozwiązać wiele typowych problemów: od promocji po brak zaangażowania. Istotny jest tu również fakt, że dzieje się to w części świata, która pełna jest regulacji niekoniecznie sprzyjających rozwojowi kryptowalut. Sprawia to, że Królestwo jest projektem wyjątkowym, który mogą docenić nawet najwięksi przeciwnicy krypto. Nie ma tu bowiem spekulacji, jest za to budowanie społeczności, która tak się składa jest największą lokalną społecznością Hive w Europie.
