Dua minggu yang lalu saya lewat di dekat pertigaan sebuah jalan raya di desa Buduran, Sidoarjo, tepatnya di depan pertigaan dekat Alfa Midi atau dikenal dengan pertigaan Buduran. Disana terdapat sebuah kedai nasi goreng dan mie goreng, dan terlihat beberapa orang rela duduk di pinggir jalan sambil makan nasi goreng. Selain itu terlihat juga beberapa orang mengantre untuk membali nasi goreng atau mie goreng untuk dibawa pulang.

Two weeks ago, I passed near a three-way intersection on a main road in Buduran village, Sidoarjo, specifically in front of the intersection near Alfa Midi, also known as the Buduran intersection. There was a fried rice and fried noodle stall there, and several people were sitting on the side of the road eating fried rice. There were also several people queuing to buy fried rice or fried noodles to take home.

Aroma bumbu bawang putih yang digoreng sebagai campuran masakan nasi goreng tersebut tercium sampai di seberang jalan. Aroma itu membuat saya tertarik untuk mencoba nasi goreng buatan kedai itu dan saya pun memarkir motor saya di dekat kedai tersebut dan segera memesan nasi goreng. Butuh waktu sekitar lima belas menit menunggu pesanan saya, karena sang pemilik kedai sedang memasak pesanan para pelanggan yang telah datang terlebih dahulu.

The aroma of fried garlic seasoning mixed into the fried rice spread across the street. The aroma intrigued me, and I parked my motorcycle nearby and immediately ordered some. It took about fifteen minutes for my order to be served, as the owner was still cooking the orders of the customers who had arrived earlier.

Akhirnya pesanan saya tiba dan segera saya mencoba memakannyanya dengan perlahan-lahan karena masih terasa panas. Nasi goreng memang cocok untuk dimakan dalam keadaan hangat-hangat karena kalau sudah dingin sudah terasa tidak sedap lagi karena aroma bumbu bawangnya sudah tidak terasa lagi.

Finally, my order arrived, and I quickly ate it slowly, as it was still hot. Fried rice is best eaten warm, as it's no longer as tasty when cold, as the aroma of the garlic seasoning is no longer noticeable.

Sang pemilik kedai memiliki tangan yang cekatan waktu memasak nasi goreng, tangannya berayun-ayun memegang spatula sambil mengaduk-aduk nasi goreng yang sudah dicampur dengan saus merah dan bumbu-bumbu khasnya.

The shop owner has agile hands when cooking fried rice, his hands swinging holding the spatula while stirring the fried rice that has been mixed with red sauce and his special spices.

Saya pun memanfaatkan momentum tersebut dengan mengambil beberapa foto ketika dia sedang memasak nasi goreng pesanan seorang pelanggan. Tentunya saya ijin dulu untuk mengambil foto-foto tersebut.

I took advantage of the opportunity to take some photos while she was cooking fried rice for a customer. Of course, I asked permission first to take these photos.

Saya mengambil foto-foto tersebut menggunakan smarphone Redmi Note 13, dan hal itu agak sulit karena pencahayaan di sekitar kedai tersebut cukup minim untuk menghasilkan foto yang terang, oleh karena itu saya mengeditnya dengan GIMP untuk mendapatkan hasil yang sesuai dengan harapan saya.

I took these photos using a Redmi Note 13 smartphone, and it was a bit difficult because the lighting around the shop was quite minimal to produce bright photos, so I edited them with GIMP to get the results that met my expectations.

Sebagai informasi tambahan, kedai tersebut juga menyediakan mie goreng dan kebetulan keesokan malam harinya saya lewat di jalan tersebut dan mencoba mie goreng buatan kedai tersebut. Harga nasi goreng dan mie goreng tersebut adalah dua belas ribu Rupiah. (hpx)
