Good day, everyone, and happy New Year to you all in the community. The year 2025 has finally come to an end, and we can now look forward to what 2026 has in store for us, as there is a lot to achieve this year. Looking back at 2025, there were many lessons learnt, not just from my end, but I am sure everyone had something to learn during the course of the year. It has not been a pretty year from my point of view, as there were times when it all seemed like things were falling apart. However, as many will say, giving up is not an option, and that quote carried me through the toughest times in 2025.

During the last hours of 2025, I took a step back to reflect on how the year turned out for me personally and I couldn't help but have a lot of gratitude to my family and friends who were with me and supported me through the good and bad days, and I have taken my time to appreciate everyone who played a part of my life in their little or big way and I hope to be there for them whenever they need me in any aspect of their lives. It was a long ride in 2025, and there were times I thought of giving up, but I had to push forward and hope for better days, and I know deep down that this will be different from the rest.

Many people would by now have concluded their New Year's resolutions or are still planning their resolutions, but for me, it is just plain and simple which is that I have to go 10 times harder than I did last year no matter what comes my way I have to put in the work in all aspects of my life. The determination is within me, and I have never had this full confidence that I have now that everything will turn out fine if I put in more work on myself this year. Setting goals is one thing, as they can just be written down somewhere and be forgotten, but putting in the effort to achieve them is on another level.

The one thing that can stop us from achieving a certain goal we set is ourselves, and nobody else, which is the truth. Many people don't take accountability and constructive criticism, which is what is holding them back from moving to a certain level in life, but that all changes this year. Honestly, I have never been one to give a New Year's resolution, as I am just the go with the flow type of person, and that has changed. Now it just works in silence for the result to turn out massive for not just me but for the people in my life.
