Cálida mezcla de Especias [Spn/Eng]
Saludos Comunidad
Tomar café es una cultura en Venezuela y muchos países del mundo. El Té, es cultura en algunos aunque en esos algunos también el café forma parte de bebidas para despertar.
Greetings, Community!
Happy start to the week, filled with health, energy, wonderful ideas, and lots of enthusiasm in every activity you undertake.
Drinking coffee is a cultural tradition in Venezuela and many other countries around the world. Tea is also a cultural tradition in some, although in those countries, coffee is also part of the daily wake-up call.
We usually make tea when we're feeling unwell, and that reminds us of our grandmothers and mothers when we were little. When there were flu outbreaks, they'd fill a basin of water with all the branches and leaves they'd gathered from their yards, or if they were missing something, they'd ask the neighbors for it. That's how I remember it. The aroma of these leaves, boiled together, was so inviting that even if we weren't sick with the flu or anything else, I think we all ended up drinking these infusions or teas. And the best part was sweetening it with honey.
Cinnamon has properties that regenerate arteries. It's an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory. It also aids in the digestion of carbohydrates and fats.
Cloves, also known as cloves, are highly valued in cooking for flavoring traditional sweets, such as the papelón syrup used to make the popular coconut kisses. They are also valued in traditional medicine, as they are rich in eugenol (the oil responsible for their beneficial effects). Like cinnamon, they are also attributed with anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and digestive benefits, among others.
Star anise, with its enticing aroma and star shape, is a spice with wonderful therapeutic potential, especially for the digestive system. Like cinnamon and cloves, it is analgesic, digestive, and expectorant.
The combination of these three spices is highly recommended in the field of regenerative medicine. Taking them daily can help with various ailments or simply as a supplement to feel good. It is truly delightful.
1 taza de agua
4 clavos de olor
1 semilla de anís
½ cucharadita de canela en polvo (ideal la canela en rama, en este momento está ausente en casa)
Making this tea is very simple. Ideally, you should have the ingredients at home, as you usually do because you frequently use them in some dessert recipes, but they're not just for sweets.
1 cup of water
4 cloves
1 anise seed
1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon (cinnamon sticks are ideal, but I don't have any at home right now)
To sweeten, you can use honey or another sweetener of your choice. This tea is unsweetened, as I prefer it that way and can better appreciate the flavor of each ingredient.
Bring the cup of water to a boil, which should take about 5 minutes or less depending on the heat.
Once the water boils, reduce the heat and add the spices: cinnamon, cloves, and anise.
Then, let it simmer for another 1 or 2 minutes, cover, turn off the heat, and let it steep for at least 5 minutes before straining and serving. As I stated earlier, sweetening is according to the tastes of the person who will consume it.
