A principios del mes de marzo mi familia y yo vivimos un momento muy especial, fuimos convocados a la sesión fotográfica de promoción de nuestro hijo, esto se hace unos meses antes del acto de grado y es un momento muy bonito ya que celebramos la meta cumplida de nuestros pequeños.

Para muchos niños pasar de preescolar a básico puede ser difícil ya que la metodología de trabajo es diferente, recuerdo que a mí me pegó muchísimo esos primeros meses, además considero que la etapa de prescolar además de ser muy importante es la más bonita, a mi cómo mamá me da mucha nostalgia saber que ya no lo voy a ver con su franela amarilla de pollito 🥹

Bueno, lo especial de este evento es que tendríamos la oportunidad de tomar una foto familiar, es decir a parte de los padres podrían asistir los abuelos, tíos o tías, y nosotros invitamos a la abuela paterna y a una tía muy cercana, mi mamá como algunos saben está fuera del país y créanme que le dolió mucho no poder estar en ese momento ya que ella es muy cercana a mi hijo, pero bueno, aún en medio de sus ausencia procuré disfrutar este momento.

Ojalá yo pudiera ver algunas fotos de mi niñez y encontrar a esos familiares que han Sido mi sostén en mi vida, como a mi abuela, a mis tías que amo con locura, y a esas personas que hoy ya no están en este plano terrenal, por eso me hace feliz poder coleccionar estos recuerdos. Mi hijo disfrutó cada segundo, tuvo una excelente actitud a pesar de que nos tomamos muchísimas fotos, el no paraba de sonreír y emocionarse en cada parte del evento.

In early March, my family and I experienced a very special moment: we were invited to our son’s graduation photo shoot. This takes place a few months before the graduation ceremony and is a truly beautiful occasion, as we celebrate our children’s achievement.

For many children, the transition from preschool to elementary school can be difficult because the teaching methods are different. I remember those first few months were really tough for me. I also believe that preschool, besides being very important, is the most beautiful stage. As a mom, it makes me very nostalgic to know that I won’t see him in his little yellow chick T-shirt anymore 🥹

Well, what made this event special was that we had the chance to take a family photo—meaning that in addition to the parents, grandparents and aunts and uncles could attend. We invited my son’s paternal grandmother and a very close aunt. As some of you know, my mom is out of the country, and believe me, it really hurt her not to be there for this moment since she’s so close to my son. But anyway, even in the midst of her absence, I tried to enjoy this moment.

I wish I could see some photos from my childhood and reconnect with those relatives who have been my pillars of support in life—like my grandmother, my aunts whom I love madly, and those people who are no longer with us on this earth. That’s why it makes me happy to be able to collect these memories. My son enjoyed every second; he had a great attitude even though we took so many photos—he wouldn’t stop smiling and getting emotional throughout the entire event.
