Street artists' festival in the medieval village of Momigno. (ENG/ESP)
Hello blog friends, I'm taking you on another adventure. A few nights ago, my husband and I decided to go out because we saw an event in Momigno, a medieval mountain village that occasionally hosts parties, fairs, and festivals. For the occasion, there was a street artists festival, and we were intrigued, so we went to check it out. Getting to Momigno at night isn't easy because there are many narrow, winding, and dark streets, but luckily the village was well-lit, and we easily found parking on the side of the road. Momigno still retains its medieval character. It's a small village of about two hundred inhabitants, made mostly of stone and rustic-style houses. It's in the mountains, so the climate is a bit cooler and the air cleaner. As soon as we arrived, we headed up the hill that leads to the village and paid three euros for the festival entrance fee, a fairly reasonable price. In every little square of the town decorated for the occasion there was a show, one every hour so as not to overlap, there were also some stalls with food and small handicrafts.
You'll see in the video below the various artists we encountered. The first was a very talented circus performer, and the second also performed a funny show in a small town square, featuring comedians and aerial dancers. She was truly entertaining and talented, and everyone, young and old, loved her. Then we continued our tour of the town, passing the small church and winding through narrow streets to see a show by a Brazilian juggler and balancer, also very entertaining and funny. Finally, we ended our walk by heading to the main square, where my favorite show was the fire show, where a fire-eater lit up the square with his truly amazing fire shows, worthy of a fantasy film. It was my favorite! Thanks to the shows by these traveling artists, we were able to explore the town in a different way, even getting to know small squares that would otherwise be unknown. The street artists festival is a great event for both adults and children, at a reduced price, and it also gives you the chance to see the charming Momigno in a different light!

Gracias 💯💯
