With Modern format no longer using leagues, progression and deck-level identity have been diluted. This proposal introduces a Seasonal Bracket System for Modern that:

• Restores structured progression

• Increases competitive integrity

• Strengthens card economy

• Reduces low-investment farming

• Creates clear competitive identity tiers

Players choose a bracket at the start of each season and are locked into that bracket until season reset.

🏆 Proposed Modern Brackets & Prize Distribution

This percentages are taken out of the value that is needed for max backet set of modern cards.

Bracket Prize Pool Allocation
Novice 2.5%
Bronze 3.5%
Silver 12.5%
Gold 29%
Champion 52.5%

Total: 100%

This distribution:

Keeps high-end competition meaningful

Still rewards developing players

Preserves aspirational climb

🔒 Bracket Lock Mechanism

Player selects bracket at season start.

Cannot switch until next season.

Prevents mid-season pool sniping.

Encourages strategic commitment.

This restores meaningful identity per season.

📜 Eligibility Requirements

To enter a bracket, a player must own:

At least 3 different splinter summoners at the maximum level of that bracket.

At least 20 units maxed for that bracket cap.

📌Create Competitive Identity

Players become:

Bronze grinders

Silver specialists

Gold competitors

Champion elites

This strengthens the community narrative and rivalry.

Each bracket would have caps on SPS earnings per win. Just like champ have now on 5k rating
