Healthy Chicken
As I was walking on the street, i saw chickens that looks so well fed and strong. Because of high cost of chicken feed, it is becoming rare in my area to find such healthy once around. To top it all, the issue of thieves that reap where they did not sow discourages many from raising poultry to maturity.
I quickly grabbed my phone to capture those chickens, as I was busy doing that, a neighbour stood nearby watching me as I capture the chicken, after which she called out to me and ask me to follow her. I curiously followed her, she led me to where she kept her own chickens, to my greatest surprise, it was bigger than the ones I had captured. It was well grown, strong, and clearly well cared for.
She explained that she couldn't risk letting them roam freely because of the constant threat of thieves. Instead, she chose to keep them secured, ensuring their safety and growth.
I really admire her efforts and hard work despite the challenges. I also took a picture of her chicken too.
Photos are all mine.
