Octopus in Blue - Watercolors on Paper

Hello to all my dear Hivers friends and welcome back to my blog. Today I’m sharing my latest watercolor painting, which continues the series dedicated to the sea and which I’ll be exhibiting soon on the Tremiti Islands. This painting also depicts the sea, but this time featuring one of its very special inhabitants—one of incredible intelligence, above all. I really love octopuses; I find them fascinating creatures with a unique elegance, and a few years ago I painted a series dedicated to them.
As you can see, by layering colors, I’ve created the habitat of my octopus friend, with shadows and light on the ocean floor.
I hope you like my watercolor; I’m sharing all the steps of the creative process with you, and I send my best regards to everyone.

Polpo nel blu - acquarelli su carta

Ciao a tutti cari amici Hivers e bentornati sul mio blog. Oggi condivido il mio ultimo dipinto ad acquarello che continua la serie dedicata al mare e che esporrò prossimamente alle isole Tremiti. Anch'esso rappresenta il mare ma stavolta con un suo abitante molto particolare e soprattutto di una intelligenza incredibile. Amo molto il polpo, la trovo una creatura affascinante e di una eleganza unica, ed alcuni anni fa dipindi una serie dedicata a lui
Come potete vedere per sovrapposizioni di stesure di colori ho creato l'habitat del mio amico polpo, con ombre e luci sul fondo del mare.
