Wow. I have lived many chaotic whirlwind of a days, but yesterday may have been one of the wildest.

To start with, in thirty-six hours we got eighteen inches of powder snow. I am not sad about it, I love the snow in the winter, and up here in the wilderness it's beautiful to behold.

But still, I needed to drive three hours to Coeur d'Alene yesterday for my Socail work internship fair thing for next year. Basically I got to do speed date job interviews with thirteen area agencies all in a two hour block. That would have been a task in and of itself, but as you all have guessed and know by now, I never get to do anything the easy way or one thing at a time.

So, at noon MTN time, I left here, all dressed professionally and groomed quite nicely. I even styled my hair, had a file of fifteen resumes, and was ready to rock, as I had even got most of my schoolwork done. I had packed to stay the weekend at my farm in Spirit Lake with my daughter, because reasons, and when I pulled into a coffee stand a couple hours later a few miles from the NIC campus where I was to do the intern fair thing, I noticed that my car was STEAMING.

The temp gauge was also climbing. I abandoned the coffee stand, and as I drove the gauge cooled a bit. I only had a couple lights to go, so I made it to the school. Then my car died. Well, I didn't have time to deal with the burned smell and such, so I went in and I interviewed. Now I have to say, I am pretty good at compartmentalizing, so I took a deep breath, grabbed my file folder, and trod into the college like a boss.

Two hours and many, many conversations later, I walked back out to my Jeep, opened my AAA app, had a tow truck sent my way, got the hubs to come pick me up because thankfully he was just down the road at the rifle range, and took another deep breath.

The internship interviews were fascinating! I got to meet so many great people from so many agencies that serve our local communities. I found one placement in particular that I would absolutely love to have. In fact, today I even reached out to tour the place. I really hit it off with the director of the program, and I will write more about that adventure once it progresses.

Moving on, I was standing at the rifle range, a lot out of place in my professional wear, pouting a bit because I was supposed to be having dinner and playing MTG with my friends, when my friend T, the delightful awesome person that he is, picked me up. So, I got to eat a smashing dinner, play half a hand of Commander, enjoy some great conversation, met a new friend, and was picked up by the hubs and hurtled home.

We got back to the ranch at 12:32 AM.

I am still tired. Because after only five hours sleep, I got up and wrote three papers, one of them an APA case study.

It just keeps going.

I got a call from my mechanic buddy a bit ago, he said my radiator was completely destroyed. So I am hoping that is all it is, but I am not getting my thoughts too solidified, it seems like I get to have nothing but constant fun in the car department for some reason.

But, if things are dire, I got a brand new car sitting at my farm I can drive as I do operation intern securement part two, my son's car is just sitting there and he was like, "go for it mom!"

The only thing I am going to go for after just completing a nineteen item two do list and six hours of school today is a nap. Peace out home skillets!
