There are specific spots on the streets where you can take incredible photos, and I think this depends entirely on the light. I mean, there are certain locations where the light falls so perfectly that taking a photo there and making the most of that setting can yield some really beautiful results, and today I’m sharing some photos that I think capture that; I hope you enjoy them.

Hay zonas en concreto en las calles donde se pueden hacer fotografías increíbles y creo que esto depende exclusivamente de la luz. Quiero decir, hay ciertas ubicaciones donde la luz ilumina de una manera tan perfecta que hacer una fotografía allí aprovechando ese entorno puede dejar algunos resultados muy bonitos, y el día de hoy les comparto algunas fotografías que considero definen eso; espero que las disfruten.

Personally, when I take street photos, I try to find many subjects for the shots, obviously one at a time to add that touch of drama I love so much—and in the process, you might come across scenes you didn’t expect, but that somehow convey a lot. For me, the first photo shows this: a person walking straight toward the light, with the rest of the photo quite dark.

Personalmente, cuando hago fotos en la calle, intento buscar muchos protagonistas para las fotos, evidentemente de uno en uno para dar ese toque de dramatismo que tanto me gusta y, en el proceso, te puedes encontrar con escenarios que no te esperabas, pero que de alguna manera transmiten bastante. Para mí la primera fotografía lo muestra, una persona caminando justo en dirección hacia la luz y el resto de la foto bastante oscura.

To add that striking touch, taking advantage of the golden hour, what I do is highlight these colors a bit more—colors that also bring a sense of history to the scenes. So it’s good to pay attention to the colors you have when taking photos, to know how you’re telling the story for the final result.

Para dar más ese toque llamativo, aprovechando la hora dorada, lo que hago es resaltar un poco más estos colores, los cuales brindan también historia a los escenarios, por lo que es bueno fijarse en los colores que tienes al momento de hacer las fotos, para saber cómo vas narrando la historia para el resultado final.
