Greetings!

In life, man proposes, God disposes. So far, so good. I have discovered that we humans are always willing to do certain things, but there are some situations that used to hinder us from doing those things.

At times, we used to promise ourselves that, this thing that I have not been doing, I will start doing it, but later, we will now find out that we do not do it and that may result to be an unfulfilled truth to ourselves that has become a lie.

Having said this, I would like to delve into the topic which says, “ what lie did you tell to yourself that never came true?”

To start with, there's this lie I told to myself that did not come true when I was a student and that night was that starting from the following semester, I would be going to the night class with my colleagues to read and study.

Before I made the promise cum lie to myself, I have discovered that it's always difficult for me to study at night as I would just sleep off.

Although I used to be motivated by the way my colleagues used to go to the night class to read and study and it's at the point that I made the lie to myself that I would follow suit, but at the it all amounted to an unfulfilled promise made to myself as I could not even do it for a week before I stopped after our resumption in the following semester.

However, maybe it's because I was only used to reading and studying in the library during the day and not at night. 

So, like I said earlier, I tried it, but all to no avail. Although I was disappointed in myself for not being able to do as I have said, I never felt bad as I stuck to my day reading which has never disappointed me for once.
